Events

The historical rooms on the ground floor of the house provide an ideal setting for events, conferences and festivities of all kinds.


Hall of Mirrors:

Furnished in the neo-classical style in 1800, this magnificent period room features a terrace looking out over the park, French windows opposite large mirrors and lovely decorative painting and stucco work that are certain to charm your guests. The room can accommodate a variety of seating arrangements, including conference seating (90 people), long-table seating (40 people) and round-table seating (60 people).

 

House Chapel:
Decorated in a neo-Romanesque style in 1894 and featuring beautiful stained-glass windows, this room can hold up to 70 people for prayer and church services or weddings.

 

Dining Hall:
The dining hall with its fireplace and original paintings perfectly reflects the style fashionable at the time the house was built. Can accommodate 60 people with conference seating, 24 with a long dining table, and up to 32 with round tables.


Games Room:

Our intimate games room is hung with paintings by Karl Hofmann and
the Austrian School and provides a cosy atmosphere for meetings of up to twelve people.


Delftware Room:

Featuring original oak panelling and a unique collection of 17th-century Delftware, 16th-century Chinese porcelain plates and 154 Delftware tiles from the 17th century, this room hasspace for up to six and thus lend itself it to confidential meetings and intimate lunches and dinners.


The rooms described above are all connected with large French doors, making it possible for you to host celebrations, meetings, and informal soirees on a grand scale just as they would have done in the Baroque or Empire period. The four rooms have a combined capacity of approximately 165 people.

For extra-special occasions, it is sometimes possible to reserve the library for informal get-togethers in front of the fireplace (capacity of 20).

Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel.

Weather permitting, our English garden and the pavilions provide an ideal setting for meetings or celebrations in the open air. Under the shade of centuries-old trees, guests can enjoy splendid views of magnificent rhododendrons and other special trees such as Saxony’s largest yellow poplar.
